11. uge i Bordeaux

Lørdag formiddag tog vi en hurtig beslutning på vejen hen til sørøverlegepladsen. Vi købte to ekstra flybilletter og søndag formiddag sad vi derfor alle sammen i flyveren mod Danmark. Pigerne klarede flyveturen på fornemmeste vis og min mor hentede os i lufthavnen. Vi tilbragte en dejlig eftermiddag og aften hjemme hos mine forældre; storesøster nød at lege med sin mormor og morfar, og min mand nåede endda et smut forbi nogle gode venner, der bor lige i nærheden.

Mandag formiddag kørte jeg til lægen med lillesøster, der skulle have sin 5 måneders vaccination, mens storesøster blev hjemme og legede med mormor, der havde taget fri. Hjemme hos mine forældre igen, nåede pigerne lige en tidlig middagslur inden min kære mor kørte os tilbage til lufthavnen igen og vi var hjemme i Bordeaux lige til aftensmadstid.

Det var virkelig dejligt, at være et smut hjemme i DK, selvom det kun var for en kort bemærkning. Det bedste var at se storesøster lege med sin mormor, men jeg nød i den grad også lidt face to face tid med mine forældre og lillesøster. Det slår altså Skype med længder. Desuden var det rart med en lille pause fra varmen. Da vi kørte hjemad fra lufthaven mandag eftermiddag, lå temperaturen på 37 grader og det var 8. dag i træk med over 30 grader.

Tirsdag var også en varm dag, men onsdag holdt vi os lige præcis under de 30 og det udnyttede jeg til en lille (og længe ventet) løbetur, da min mand kom hjem fra arbejde. Det var rart at få rørt benene igen, men selvom det føltes behageligt, da jeg startede, kunne jeg hurtigt konkludere, at 29 grader er altså bare er alt for varmt at løbe i.

Torsdag føltes det til gengæld som om, at efteråret kom til Bordeaux, kun en enkelt dag for tidligt i forhold til kalenderen. Pigerne og jeg havde en fantastik formiddag med høj sol og omkring 20 grader, hvilket vi udnyttede til at give den fuld gas på legepladsen og samle kastanjer i massevis.

Fredag blev det så lige lovlig meget efterår til min smag og vi blev overrasket af en byge på vej hjem fra legepladsen. Pigerne hyggede sig ganske godt i klapvognen under regnslaget, mens jeg stormede afsted mod sporvognen. På vejen kom vi forbi byens største plads, Places des Quinconces, hvor endnu et cirkus, er ved at slå teltet op. En venlig mand med en paraply, iført en jakke med ciskursets navn på ryggen, løb et stykke ad vejen med os, mens han skærmede mig med paraplyen. Han sagde en hel masse på fransk, som jeg desværre ikke forstod, men jeg nikkede, smilede og sagde mange tak, da han stoppede og vinkede til os. Storesøster og jeg brugte turen hjem i sporvognen på at gætte på, om det mon var linedanseren, klovnen eller måske endda løvetæmmeren, der havde løbet med os.
