20. uge i Bordeaux

Sidste weekend var mest en hjemmeweekend. Jeg havde brug for at slappe af og sove og vejret var ikke det bedste. Vi brugte derfor tiden på at bage boller, skære græskarhoveder og så var vi en enkelt tur nede ved floden og se det russiske skoleskib Mir, der var på besøg og havde åbent for gæster. Storesøster var overbevist om, at det var et ægte sørøverskib og hendes fantasi fik hende endda til at få øje på helt rigtige kanoner og kanonkugler om bord på båden. Hun var dog lidt ærgerlig over, at hun ikke måtte få en sørøverhat ligesom alle piraterne (læs: kadetterne) havde på.

I tirsdags fandt vi ud af, at onsdag var en fransk helligdag, så min mand fik en uventet fridag. Den brugte vi på at køre en tur til endnu en nærliggende park. Her var en græsplæne med tal og bogstaver spredt ud over det hele. Storesøster går meget op i tal og bogstaver i øjeblikket og øver sig meget i at læse dem. Hver gang hun ser et skilt, vil hun gerne vide hvilke bogstaver der står, så det tager nogle gange meget lang tid, når vi går rundt inde i byen.

I parken var der (selvfølgelig) også en stor legeplads og adskillige bure med dyr lige fra små kænguruer til undulater. Storesøsters favoritter var uden tvivl Karle Kronhjort (som vist hverken hed Karle, eller var en kronhjort, men den havde da et stort gevir) og legepladsens “sfævebane”, som hun har spurgt efter flere gange siden.

Mit humør og overskud er heldigvis meget bedre end i sidste uge. Lillesøster har sovet helt fantastisk de sidste par dage og det gør bare en verden til forskel, når jeg får min søvn. Nu skal vi bare lige have forklaret hende, at det altså ikke er vågne-tid før tidligst kl. 06, men hun er heldigvis god til at ligge og putte i sengen om morgenen og det er nu også meget hyggeligt.

Begge pigerne er blevet utrolig gode til at underholde sig selv på det sidste. Storesøster kan forsvinde ind i sin egen fantasi-verden i over en time ad gangen og lillesøster kan bruge overraskende lang tid på bare at kigge på hende. Det giver mig lidt frie hænder til at klare alt det praktiske, så jeg med god samvittighed kan slappe af, når pigerne sover. Men det betyder også, at det er lidt svært at komme ud af døren, for storesøster “har altså lidt travlt mor” eller “skal bare liiiige…”, så det er ikke altid, hun har tid til at tage på legeplads. Jeg insisterer dog på, at vi skal lidt ud hver formiddag, men det bliver som regel ikke så længe. Det passer nu egentlig også meget godt, for dels er det lidt koldt (eller køligt i hvert fald) om morgenen og dels er det lidt af en udfordring at have lillesøster med. Hun er lynhurtigt trillet 3 meter væk og har fundet en gren at putte i munden, hvis man ikke konstant holder øje med hende. Og hun gider da i hvert fald ikke bare sidde i klapvognen med sit legetøj og se på storesøster, der løber rundt.

Vejret gør også sit for at holde humøret højt. Jeg beklager, hvis I er trætte af at læse om det hjemme i kolde Danmark, men det er altså bare skønt. Selvom morgenerne er kolde, har vi haft blå himmel og over 20 grader næsten alle eftermiddage i løbet af ugen. Solen går desuden først ned omkring kl. 18, så torsdag eftermiddag (d. 2. november!), da min mand kom hjem fra arbejde, spankulerede vi uden jakker ned i byen til en lille eftermiddagsis.

I morgen skulle det også blive dejligt vejr, men derefter ser det ud til, at vejret slår om og bliver lidt mere efterårsagtigt. Så i næste uge skal vi måske til at afprøve nogle af byens biblioteker frem for alle legepladserne.
